SureCast
SureCast uses the Monte Carlo method of simulation to increase the known information that an organization has to work with and keep it current. The simulation is based upon high-level models that are updated in real time to reflect the actual completion time and probability of completion for stages in the sales pipeline.
Adaptive Stage Models
The models are initially created from simple data
provided by the user, based on their knowledge and judgment available at the time of creation. However, once the models are created and made active,
SureCast utilizes its proprietary adaptive modeling
technology to continually update the models to reflect the
sales team's latest performance relative to the actual progress of opportunities through the pipeline.
Simulation Forecasts
Generate statistically accurate, on-demand forecasts
for different confidence intervals.
View forecasts for each forecast period and each team member.
Compare forecasts to
quotas for each team member as well as provide a quota
confidence estimation for each period.
View the status of all
active opportunities currently in your sales pipeline
for your team members.
Forecast by Confidence Interval
In the screen below SureCast is set to display a manager's forecast profile for Quarter 2, fiscal Year 2010. The data include all opportunities in this manager's organization. Each vertical bar is a confidence interval, from five to 95 percent. The horizontal yellow line is the quota set for this team member. All opportunities included into the forecast are listed on the top right. Key
forecast statistics are given in the top left.
Overall Pipeline Forecast
In the screen below SureCast is set to display this team member's sales revenue pipeline by month. It can also be displayed by quarter, year, or by individual team member.
Opportunity and Sales Pipeline Management
Close Date Confidence: View the simulated close dates for both high and
stretch confidence intervals.
Required Stage: Determine the stage the opportunity should be in now to close on time.
Enter partial stage completions for even more precision in the forecasts.
Place an opportunity on hold or force a completion date to reflect reality by opportunity.
Stage Progress
The following screen displays all of the opportunities
that belong to the members of this manager's organization
and compares the actual pipeline progress vs. the progress
required to close on time.
Close Date Confidence
In this screen, the information for the same
opportunities are displayed so the current close date can be
easily compared to the projected high-confidence and stretch
dates. It should be noted that the high-confidence and
stretch confidence levels are user defined for their
organization.
Update and Edit Opportunities
Sales team members, and their managers, can update and edit opportunity
status information from within SureCast or in Salesforce. In addition to the Salesforce®
inputs, SureCast allows users to enter partial completion for any stage, place the opportunity on
hold for a specified period of time, and if desired,
override the SureCast projected close date and/or win
probability. The SureCast user interface allows the
salesperson to update information for all of their
opportunities from this single screen.
