We use the Salesforce CRM to manage our opportunities and forecast our business. Our sales cycle is 30 – 60 days, with most of our activity to close occurring within the current month. The problem was how to manage the opportunities so that we could reliability predict our revenue for the current month and at least the next six months. We needed to be able to organize our opportunities by close dates, check status regularly and confirm that the close dates and sales stages indicated were realistic and reliable. Or, conversely, detect slipping opportunities and revise close dates or sales stages where necessary.

With SureCast we are able to do just that. SureCast displays each opportunity by sales team member in an easy to read visual format and compares the scheduled close date with the probable close date based upon the SureCast simulation and models. We can easily tell which opportunities are on track and which ones need further work by the color coded graphical representation of each opportunity. We do this several times each week. As our opportunities move from one stage to the next, SureCast tracks the stage times and revises the models continuously so that we know that we are always using models based upon the actual time it takes to move through our pipeline.

SureCast installation and set up was very straight forward. And once we had the initial models in place, no further action was required.

Since we started using SureCast we are definitely working more effectively and efficiently in managing our opportunities and we have a much higher confidence in our forecasts.
